The Chapel of Saint Efstathios

Under the guidance of George Filippakis, Bessie started her first major church project in 2007. A defining chapter in her life’s work, she spent over eleven years writing 100 icons for the chapel in Houston, including The Pantocrator, More Spacious than the Heavens, The 24 Stanzas of the Akathist Hymn, and The Life of Saint Efstathios.
